The Crowe Academy, established in 2016, is our flagship initiative. Athletes in this programme are regularly moving into the wider Premier senior squads and often exceling, becoming key members of their respective teams. We have also seen athletes represent New Zealand at the Under 19 level and Auckland through various age group teams.
The Crowe Academy provides athletes with specialist coaching and advisors during their time in the school cricket system (year 9 to year 13) in the following areas; batting, bowling, throwing and fielding, strength and fitness and team fundamentals.
From 2020/21, additional high-quality coaching resource will also be provided to selected men aged 18-22 and women aged 16-22 within the Premier Men's and Women's structures at Cornwall Cricket Club. This change will ensure our most talented youth cricketers will receive specialist coaching and advice as they find their feet in senior cricket.

Tariel Lamb was awarded the Crowe Scholarship in 2016 when she was already a regular for our Premier Women's team and was in the Auckland Developing Future Hearts.
Tariel's goal was to play for the Auckland Hearts which she achieved in December 2019 and has now become a regular member of the squad.
Matthew Gibson applied for the Scholarship while studying at Sacred Hearts College where he was a very promising cricketer. In his final season Matthew took 7 wickets against a strong St Kentigern team.
Matthew took a four wicket bag on debut against Waitakere for the Premier Men in 2018. In years since, he has continued to improve and is the 'go-to' opening bowler for the Premier Men.
In 2021, Matthew earned an Auckland domestic contract.
